The Quixote Syndrome

The Quixote Syndrome features errant sallies into history, literature, and the absurd.

It grew from the humble idea of making comics to pair with the syllabus for a college literature & philosophy course I used to teach. From 2014 through 2020, it was a syndicated online weekly strip on Andrews McMeel’s site GoComics. Since then, The Quixote Syndrome has been steadily spewing forth, with over 300 comics to date. It will continue to do so here at its sovereign online home, with new comics appearing a couple times a month.

The man, or pmann, behind TQS is me, Peter Mann. A historian by training, with a love of reading old books and rummaging through the dustbin of the past, I write novels, teach history & literature, and draw cartoons.
